Gary Con 2019             Page 2
Thursday I played in a DnD tournament with a Jim Johnson who was a stand
up guy that told me I should go get my free beer cup for running a couple of
games at this convention. Wha!? How did I screw that up? So I got my black
Gary Con souvenir cup and then things were never really clear after that. For
one thing I forgot to take pictures, besides my character, of the DnD game. I
was playing with my friend Bart and he was with his group from the previous
year. We had high expectations but we felt good about how things went but
we didn't end up proceeding to the next round. Just one of the many times
the outside world does not recognize my inside greatness.
MU Skulls Thursday!
By now I was testing out the $3 Spotted Cows
pretty liberally when I ran into my dear friends at
You Too Can Cthulhu! These folks run awesome
events and make sure you get in one of their events!
Thursday evening was reserved for a Star Trek game and
you can guess from the uniform what the era was. Even
though I brought a Star Wars hydroflask to the game I was
still treated with respect which is the sign of a true gentleman
GM. I filled the black cup a few more times with $3 Spotted
Cow.

The guy ran a great Star Trek game and was a true fan so he
had the background well constructed. His setting was an area
in space known as The Triangle which was where
Federation, Romulan and Klingon territories meet. It was a
good concept that allows for some interesting "flexibility" in
our game.
