After the lasagna buffet I rested my eyes a bit and was ready to put on my Astartes Scout armor and complete a mission for The Emperor! We avoided Eldar traps and gunned down a few orks and saved the planet from a dreadful plague. All in a day's work when you're a genetically modified human.
It might have been the surprising find of beef brisket and mashed potatoes but I forgot to get a picture of my Call of Cthulhu game King Kong vs. Cthulhu vs. Godzilla. Instead I'll give you this picture of OSR gaming that had many quiet games being sedately played. Following this I hit the bar and found my friends Reuben, Lenny, Kevin, and Matt.
The inside of my mouth had the ashy taste of hangover and coffee so I was in a Fremen state of mind for Dune. This is a reprint of the 1980's Avalon Hill board game which I owned but never actually played because I couldn't get enough people to care to play. So the game today had six people which is really the best way to play. Interesting turn of fate that it came down to Atreides against the Fremen and apparently they were hung over too as Atreides took the last city from me and conquered Arrakis.
