| This year the roads were just fine and Mike and I met up for Marm Dog. I met Mike's friend Jed who was showing up for his first game and convention experience! I ran first this year. This was a second playtest for my Gen Con CoC game and I was pleased with how everything went. Quite a few people were interested in how I used Epic Table with Dundjinni on my laptop for the maps. Mike ran next in the afternoon and had an over-full table of really crazy characters by the end of the game. Mike and I kept an eye out for Shadows of Esteren and Kevin Wixon but no luck on that this year. It was great seeing the vendors back and I found a guy with some great deals on Armies of Middle Earth minis, so I bought a few. We hit Gallagher's again this year and it was fun as always. Mike, Jed and I hashed over game events and world politics with some tasty brews. Huge beer list, great food, and cool pub vibe make it our post con destination! |
