Once again Adepticon set aside a room for the MU Skulls and were very great to work with. The sign up system of just buy a badge and sign up for a game was great. They even provide an alternate waiting lists for the players that couldn't get a scheduled seat. There are almost always a few no shows at any given game and the waiting list made it very easy to get the game filled in a fair and easy manner. I'd love it if Gen Con adopted something similar! |
Mike is setting up for one of five Call of Cthulhu games this year. We experimented with running a few Cthulhu games and the reaction was overwhelming. Thursday was a massive role-playing game night. We totally sold out and based on the long waiting lists we will plan on doubling the number of games for next year. |
Make sure your double check your reservation as the online service has been weak in my experience. Once again we got a lovely room with a view of Ikea. |
Saturday was our last day of running games and it was all about the Warhammer 40k universe! I ran Dark Heresy and Mike ran Only War. These games sold out as well and the attendance was massive. The players at Adepticon are great and I look forward to coming back next year! |
While Mike was running some Call of Cthulhu on Friday, I switched over to run some Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars: Edge of the Empire. |
