Back to Adepticon in 2016 baby! This time for the whole thing! This was about the best overall game con experience I've ever had. Whaaaaaaat? Yep. The convention is not just well run but the people are totally cool fully engaged gamers that want you to come back so they go waaayy out of their way to help you out. First off, in honor of the MU Skulls with their charter RPG presentation at Adepticon they created this badge design! Amazing design and I'm humbled that they thought of us.
Now check out the room situation! Remember those noisy Gen Con rooms? GONE! The programming guy said he knew how noise could be a hassle so he made sure we had our OWN ROOM! This is pretty far from the dilapidated hallways of Bucks stadium in Milwaukee!
It was the booziest convention I've been to. Kind of like back in the 80s when people drank cheap scotch out of wineskins at the table and their breath actually got better. Now technology has brought us pedal powered beer trikes with miniatures in the back that are free with a purchase!

Who wouldn't want to start their gaming day with a Tequila Sunrise!?

Meanwhile, I was playing in this game.....

My rolling was less than ideal so I let these girls roll for me and of course they were much better and they won me this shirt!

Here's an very nice Hoth setup that ran all weekend. You can see the dealer's area in the background. Fantasy Flight was running demos of Rebellion and I got to try it out. Pretty fun. There is some detail to the rules so it's not a good fit for casual gamers. But if you're reading this that doesn't apply to you!

Not totally sure what's going on here. They might be giants....

This tall ships game setup looked great but I never saw anyone playing it. It must be a weird schedule or terrible rules.

I loved Adepticon! The staff were great and the players we had for our RPGs were fun people to hang out with. We had good feedback about running RPGs there and look to expand our games for next year!
